WE NEED YOU!

Hi Everyone,

Here at Punctum we are committed to creating one of the most interesting and thought provoking visual exhibitions ever to hit Newport and beyond, However to grasp the amazing opportunity we currently have and transform the hard work already put in by so many to realise the show, we now need your help. If you feel you can bring something to the exhibition or help in some way we are keen to hear from you. Likewise, if you would like to become an official friend/supporter of the show we have an account set up purely for the development of the show.

To help make the kitty grow we are also offering a free limited edition signed A3 print to the first 30 donations of £50 or more. All donator's should be aware that 100% of your gift will be used directly to increase the scope and scale of the works created and through the development of our education program and interactive web content facilitate the show to reach a much wider audience .

Still Thinking? well if a free print or the warm fuzzy feeling you'll have inside after donating isn't enough to start digging deep then don't forget all supporters, big or small, will be recognised for their support in our catalogue.

To donate or just chat about the project please drop us a line at ghostsinarmour@gmail.com or alternatively call Matt on 07734 471 356

kindest regards

The Ghosts Team

WrightGeorge Float Site Specific Sphere at Godins

WrightGeorge Push Visual Boundaries for Ghosts in Armour with their first site specific floating photosphere.

This week Matt Wright and Chris George collaborating as WrightGeorge were delighted to display their two metre diameter floating photosphere back on site in the exact position from which it was shot.

The Helium Filled Photograph was displayed back in its place of conception from Monday to Friday of this week to represent an average working week. Forming the key piece created for Ghosts in Armour by WrightGeorge the photosphere represents the furthest development so far by the creative duo. Forcing the viewer to question the physical boundaries of the medium of photography the sphere on site forces the viewer to the outside of a view both mentally and physically. The occasional alignment between the viewer, the sphere and its environment creates a symbiotic disharmony between our perception of time and space. The documentation and sphere itself will be displayed within the Ghosts in Armour Show at the Riverfront later in the year.
